The Announcement Machine
C2E2 is the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, and in the months before the show its feed is the show. Guest announcements, cast reunions, artist alley headliners, panel highlights, applications, will call hours. Every one of those needs its own card, and every card has to read as C2E2 before the thumb decides whether to stop. The system is one frame that holds them all: the red gradient ground, the torn collage corners, the location and date chip, and the credit bar along the bottom naming the fandoms. A celebrity portrait, a game render, an anime still and an hours listing all arrive wearing the same jacket.

Same Guest, One Year Apart
The 2025 cards were flat colour fields with clean type. Perfectly readable, and interchangeable with any other show's announcement the moment you cover the logo. The 2026 system trades the quiet for a frame with a pulse: the gradient ground, the collage grit in the corners, the chip, the credit bar. Sean Astin came back to the show, which makes him the honest comparison. Drag the slider and the same face crosses one year of brand.
